🕯️ How to Burn a Candle Safely

• Never leave a burning candle unattended. Always extinguish your candle before leaving the room.

• Keep candles away from anything flammable — curtains, books, bedding, or paper.

• Always keep candles out of the reach of children and pets.

• Place your candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface that can contain any wax drips.

• Avoid burning near drafts, vents, or open windows to prevent uneven flames or smoke.

• Do not touch or move your candle while it’s lit or while the wax is still liquid.

• Stop burning when about 1 cm of wax remains — burning beyond this can overheat the vessel.

• Extinguish your candle gently using a snuffer or wick dipper — never use water.

• Trim the wick to 6 mm (¼ inch) before each burn to ensure a clean, even flame.

• On the first burn, allow the wax to melt completely to the edges to prevent tunnelling.

• Limit each burn to 3–4 hours for optimal performance and to preserve fragrance quality.

• Keep the wax pool clear of wick trimmings, matches, or debris.

• If the flame flickers or smokes, extinguish the candle, let it cool, trim the wick, and relight.

• Store your candle in a cool, dry place away from sunlight to preserve its natural scent and form.
